Greenleaf Medical Clinic Is Dedicated to Providing the Latest in Cannabis Education
There is a demand for medical cannabis education amongst healthcare practitioners, as more physicians and nurse practitioners are open to prescribing medical cannabis to their patients. However, some physicians are unsure of how to appropriately navigate the Cannabis Act.
The Greenleaf Medical Clinic has developed courses designed as an educational platform for healthcare professionals, physicians, and nurse practitioners.
The following programs are available:
- Cannabis Educator Internship Program: This 3-month internship program is designed to give students work experience as a cannabis educator.
- Preceptorship Training Program for Physicians & Nurse Practitioners: This one or two-day program will provide access to hands-on clinical training in medical cannabis.
- Preceptorship Training Program for Healthcare Practitioners: This one-day program will expand healthcare practitioners’ knowledge of medical cannabis looking to advance their scope of patient care.
