Cannabinoids are the active chemical ingredient produced by the cannabis plant. More than 100 different cannabinoids have been identified, but research has primarily focused on only two of them so far: delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

There are separate dried plant and oil products available such as THC only, CBD only, or THC/CBD combination depending on your needs. THC and CBD (and other cannabinoids and terpenes) in the plant can work together to create the entourage effect.

Effects of THC

Most side effects are caused by increasing the dose of THC too quickly which can cause intoxication. This does not happen with CBD.
